A simple way to think about progression
Last Asylum progression is not one straight upgrade line. Your Sanctuary, supporting buildings, Research Lab, heroes and alliance/event systems all develop alongside each other, so the useful question is usually “what is blocking me next?” rather than “what is the one perfect order?”
Core progression areas
When progress slows down
If a Sanctuary milestone is blocked, check its building prerequisites. If research options are limited, check your Research Lab level. If combat feels unclear, start with hero roles and formation notes before spending heavily on assumptions about a hidden combat formula.
Later account progression
Alliance Duel and Kingdom War add event-specific reasons to save resources, coordinate with other players and time upgrades differently. Their dedicated guides should be read alongside the live event UI because rules and scoring can change.
